The Barcelona Wax Museum expands its collection with the addition of a new figure that pays tribute to one of the most universal contemporary Catalan artists: Jaume Plensa: art and soul in a new iconic figure.

Plensa, internationally recognized for his monumental sculptures and poetic approach to art, joins the cast of great personalities of art, culture and thoughts represented in the museum. The figure has been crafted in great detail, to reflect the expressive depth and sensitivity that characterizes both the artist and his creations.

The Barcelona Wax Museum is one of the most emblematic spaces in the city, located in an elegant neoclassical building from the nineteenth century, on one of the most important streets in Barcelona, La Rambla, near the statue of Columbus. The museum houses more than 150 wax figures of historical figures, celebrities, fictional characters, and pop culture figures, all depicted with great realism. It also has immersive scenography that makes visitors feel part of the scene.

Completely renovated in 2020, it has sound effects, light and interactive technology for a dynamic and attractive experience for the visitor.
